Some Typical Projects have been:
- Project Management and implementation of ERP systems and CAD / CAM technologies, both software and hardware. To provide integrated information flow through the entire Back Office / Manufacturing and Warehouse "Supply Chain" and company infra-structure.
- Conducted a major project with a manufacturing company and their retailers to ensure that the company was pro-active with their customer base, utilising the concepts of the "Logistical Supply Chain Management" including Cross Docking, EDI and non value adding analysis.
- Work with selected suppliers on the same concepts listed above. Part of the Corporate plan was for the company to become a global company, I implemented a plan to ensure that they had the global logistical / supply chain infrastructure to support this plan. This included global freight and handling. The introduction of Scan packing, ASN,s and SCCM's. and the control of all freight and transportation of goods both locally and globally, including the establishment of 3rd party freight forwarding and warehousing facilities.
- Implementation of 3rd Party "Strategic Alliances" with suppliers of products and services to ensure timely and quality performance. This involved developing operational guidelines, Service Level Agreements and performance KPI's, for companies across the Asia/Pacific region.
- Conducted a project in the 'Dotcom' world involving the B2B seamless integration of the software from the Web page, throughout the business processes and via 3rd party providers / suppliers. So the whole Supply Chain was seamlessly linked electronically.
- Implementation of ISO 9001 Certification and TQM principles, including Process Mapping and Operating Procedure Manuals.
- Evaluation and implementation of ERP systems x 3 companies. This involved complex Project Management across internal staff, external consultants and ERP service providers.
- Successful implementation of Quick Response and VMI programs with several of Australia's biggest retailers.
- The development, implementation and execution of Strategic and Business Plans.
- The establishment of eCommerce Supply Chains and ERP systems in the "ecom" world.
- Extensive experience in Hong Kong / China / Asia establishing Logistical / Supply Chain infra structures and supplier networks, including warehousing and shipping.
- Established and implemented Key Customer Service Procedures and Benchmarks, including the development of total Customer Relationship Management plan and operating procedures and measurements for Call Centre management. This also provided full 'Web' based order visibility for customers.
- Establishing Supply Chain Management/ Procurement principles, both internally and with customers and suppliers both within Australia and with overseas trading partners, this involved complex contract negotiations and supplier rationalization as well as the utilization of eCommerce principles.
